Psynk exists to help riders replay, compare and improve—not to monetise personal information.
This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Psynk we may collect:
- Account information
- Uploaded videos
- Ride telemetry
- GPS information
- Replay settings
- Comparison settings
- Share preferences
- Basic device information
2. Why we collect it
We collect only the information required to provide the Psynk experience.
This includes replay, synced comparison, telemetry processing, AI-assisted analysis, sharing, account security, and improving future versions of Psynk.
3. Artificial intelligence and Insights Lab
Psynk uses software to analyse video, telemetry and replay information in order to provide features such as synced comparison, replay analysis, coaching suggestions and future Insights Lab capabilities.
As Psynk develops, these systems will continue to improve through machine learning, computer vision and other analytical methods.
Where practical we use anonymised or aggregated information when improving these systems.
4. Sharing your rides
When you choose to share a ride, anyone with the share link may be able to view the content that you have chosen to make public.
Private rides remain private unless you explicitly decide to share them.
A ride you submit to a private Event can be viewed and compared by authorised participants in that Event. Submitting one ride does not expose the rest of your ride library.
Before you confirm an Event submission, we tell you if that ride may be included in comparison videos shared outside the Event. External sharing applies only to the submitted ride. Confirming the Event submission is your choice to share that specific ride in this way.
If a comparison video is saved, sent or posted outside Psynk, copies may remain available even after the Event submission is withdrawn.
5. Your rights
You may request access to your personal information.
You may ask us to correct inaccurate information.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any legal obligations requiring retention.
Where applicable, we aim to comply with the UK GDPR and other relevant privacy legislation.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not sell your riding history.
- We do not sell your GPS tracks.
- We do not use your videos in advertising without permission.
- We do not make private rides public without your action.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as it is needed to provide the Psynk service, meet legal obligations and improve platform reliability.
You remain in control of your rides. You can delete rides from your account at any time. Copies stored in secure backups may remain for a limited period where technically necessary before being permanently removed.
8. Cookies and analytics
Psynk uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and operate the platform securely.
As the platform develops we may introduce privacy-friendly usage analytics to help improve performance and usability.
9. Contact
If you have questions about privacy or how we process data, please contact us.
